All three GT-1 footswitches are designed to make patch selection, access to tuning, looper control and other functions as easy as possible. The CTL1 switch can be assigned to control tempo, off/on effects and other functions, while the expression pedal and toe switch can be assigned to control volume, wah and various effect parameters for a change. For more demanding players, there is also a jack used to connect two external footswitches or an expression pedal.
